Based in Namibia and bought QBO SA in 2017. Under company address I could manually enter province in Nam and Zip Code. Now there is a drop down. how can I override this?

The list of states shown in the Company address section depends on what details you've entered when you sign up for QuickBooks. If you're referring to removing the drop-down option, this is currently unavailable. This is because our program provides the option so you can change some details if necessary to ensure your data stays accurate.

However, if you mean to select Nam as your state and you're unable to see it, I recommend contacting your accountant or tax agency in South Africa. They can advise what specific address you need to choose so the same tax calculations will occur.

Additionally, I also suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks Online Support Team. They have the tools to pull up your account which is needed in investigating this matter. Then, verify further info if the NAM should appear on the list of addresses or none.

Here's how:

1. In your QuickBooks Online company, select (?) Help.
2. Select either Assistant or Search to get started.
3. Choose a way to connect with us.

Do you need to signup for a new QBO account? You should purchase QBO Global version for Namibia, not QBO South Africa version.
