I assigned my Business Card as a Credit card as there is no cheque option. All payments are via bank account. Everything balances to the last cent. But shows up as a double negative now.

Can my bank account be labeled wrong. And show as a negative income?
Example:
"Actual Bank Balance" +100

-As seen on QBO:
"Bank Balance" - 100.00
"In Quickbooks" - 100.00
"Recon" as - 200.00

I want to ensure you have the same balance with QuickBooks Online and your real bank statement.

QuickBooks data depends on how you entered the transactions. All the transactions in your bank statement should match with QuickBooks Online.

Since you have different balances, I recommend checking all your transactions and comparing them with your real bank statement.

Once you find the incorrect transaction, modify it before reconciling the account.

Here's how:

  1. From the left menu, choose Transactions.
  2. Under the Bank Transactions tab, tick the check box for the selected transaction.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Enter necessary details.
  5. Hit Apply.

Moreover, you can access this article to help ensure entries are balanced and accurate: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have questions about managing bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. I'm always here to help. Have a great day.

Hi, no. This is not the issue.

Everything matches. But the total is negative instead of a positive amount to equal zero when reconciling.
