How can I transfer a CVS file of products?

Importing a spreadsheet of your items into QuickBooks can save you time. I’ll show you how to import them directly into QuickBooks.

1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Import Data.
2. Click Products and Services.
3. Select Browse to upload the file from your computer. Choose the file, and then click Open.
4. Continue by clicking Next.
5. Map your information. Your Field represents the headers on your spreadsheet. From each drop-down ▼ menu, choose the one that matches a field in QuickBooks Online.
6. Click Next.
7. If you see some cells highlighted in red, this means the cell is invalid. Check the cell in your spreadsheet and try importing again.
8. Select Overwrite all values for each product or service with the same name. Make sure everything looks correct because this can't be undone.
9. Finally, click Import.

Please take note that invalid characters in your products and services can lead to server errors or other problems in the application. To avoid or remedy these problems, make sure your company name in QuickBooks Online only contains accepted characters from this list.
