Why is the bank balance and deposits not showing in the account history?

I'm here to help you show the bank balance and deposits in the account history in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Once you've linked a bank account to QuickBooks, QBO will automatically download your transaction data every night for the majority of financial institutions. Also, the system generates an opening balance automatically. The amount is based on the real bank account.

 

Since the bank balance and the deposits are not showing, I'd recommend updating your bank:

 

  1. In your QuickBooks Online, go to Banking at the left pane.
  2. Select Banking.
  3. On the Banking page, select Update. QuickBooks Online updates all your connected bank and credit card accounts. If you only want to update some accounts, select the unwanted ones to exclude them from the update and select Update Now.
