It's good to have you here in the QuickBooks Community, Nathan. I'm here to walk you through the steps to link your bank account to QuickBooks Online.
The bank feeds save you time, so you don't have to enter anything manually, but first, you'll need to ensure that your bank supports Open Banking.
We can connect your bank to QBO if it's on the list. If not, we can still add your transactions by uploading them manually.
Before we start, review your file format and size so it's in the correct format when uploading. Please take note that the maximum file size is 350 KB. Once you're ready to upload them, I'll show you how to do it:
- From the Bookkeeping menu, choose Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
- Click Upload transactions.
- Select Drag and drop or select files, then choose the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Continue.
- In the QuickBooks account ▼ dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions. Then click Continue.
- Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then tick Continue.
- Select the transactions you would like to import. Then select Continue.
- Hit Yes, then Done.
