Question

App on phone. Used to be able to press “Account Balances” at bottom & go to new transactions to be reviewed / reconciled. Function stopped working. How do I resolve?

Thank you for reaching out to us here on the Community page. I can share with you some troubleshooting steps to fix the issue when pressing the Account Balances.

 

To get started, I recommend restarting your phone and re-launch the application. If the same behaviour happens, you can now proceed with clearing the app's data. In most cases, unusual result while working with QuickBooks is because of the cache stored on the application.

 

Here's how to clear the app data for android device:

 

  1. From your device's Settings, select Apps (varies by device)
  2. Choose QuickBooks app from the list.
  3. Select Storage
  4. Tap on clear data.

 

For ios:

 

  1. From your device's Settings, select Setting General iPhone Storage.
  2. Choose QuickBooks, then free up the storage.

 

Moreover, you can also uninstall and reinstall the application.
