Giving an update on recent issue. So having spoke to a hunan from quickbooks and explaining tirelessly what my issue was they kept asking me the same question " it doesn't show in transaction is that what you mean" nooooo my balance isn't correct and upto date even tho the transactions and profit is. They then put me through to a person who can screen control to see what I ment explained it to them AGAIN and showed them everything I had already explained they said for me to add a transaction manually but it didn't need to as the transactions where all correct. They just ended the the chat. I took matter I to my owm hands.

Decided to add the same banking account again so it duplicated all my transactions when infact it actually just updated my balance so it was up to date with the transactions which was uptodate. So waiting 2 hours of my Sunday taking to people from Quicbooks, o sorted my own issue myself in 5 minutes..

Adding to this post, my deposits always shown up to date on bank balance within 2-3hiurs of receiving payment. Had a deposit paid 2 days ago. Transaction says is been received. My bank is up to date amd receipt sent. But quick book balance doesn't show the correct balance its the one transaction  thsi isn't correct all the other are fine. Ive marked the invoice as paid too.

Any thoughts? Never had this issue before

I'll make sure to keep your bank balance updated in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), @rokinsjoinery.

Before we start, I'd like to verify the name of your financial institution and if you've encountered an error message while checking your account transactions? Any additional details are much appreciated to help us provide the appropriate resolution.

There are messages and notifications from your bank website especially about updates that can block their connection to QBSE. This might be the reason your account isn't showing the appropriate balance.

To resolve this, you'll first need to sign in to your bank's website to check for updates, messages, or notifications. Then, take the necessary actions to complete any required process.

When you're done, log back into your QBSE account to refresh the connection between the system and your bank. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Bank accounts.
  3. Click the Refresh all button.

Once your transactions are downloaded, you'll have to review and categorise them (i.e., deposit) to keep your financial data is accurate. For the step-by-step guide, you can refer to this article: Categorise transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Let me know how it goes in the comments below. If you have other banking concerns or inquiries about managing your self-employed transactions, I'll gladly help. Take care, and wishing you continued success.

Hi thanks for your reply, I have logged on to my bank account amd everything is upto date and works as it should. Transactions after the deposit made have shown on my quick books its not the one deposit which still isn't showing today as up to date.
