Thanks for reaching out to us here, lockings1-outloo.

I'd like to help you with your concern. When you say bank connection issue, are you getting any error messages when trying to add your bank account? Or are you not able to find the bank account? If so, you'll want to follow the solutions below.

To fix banking errors, we can do some troubleshooting steps to rule out any browser-related issues.

Let's start by using the incognito or private browser because it doesn't store your browsing history.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

Next, try adding your bank account to test the connection. If it works, our final step is to go back and log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account in a regular browser and clear its cache. Clearing cache helps eliminate the error and refresh the browser settings.

Another option is to use a different supported browser.

I'm adding this article as a guide: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

For finding the bank account, you can read this article for the instructions: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.

Please let me know if you're referring to something else. I'll be right here to help you until a solution is found. Thanks.
