Bank transactions error 9999

Just noticed one client has no bank accounts updating since 17 May (NatWest, Halifax, Virgin, Capital One all the same).

Error message is "Sorry, we can't update your account. Please wait a few hours and try updating again (9999)."

How can I fix this? Seems odd that it's across a variety of banks.

Hello Richard96, thanks for making us aware of the 9999 error you are seeing on multiple banks connected in QuickBooks. We're sorry to hear about this, this error is usually a temporary error, as seen here, which should fix within 48 hours.

As this has not been the case, can you open the QuickBooks in a private browsing window and if you get the same error, can you disconnect and reconnect the accounts. Making sure to select the relevant date range so you do not get any duplicate transactions pulling through.

We've included a help article on how to disconnect accounts here.

Any questions let us know we'd be happy to assist.

Thanks - disconnecting and reconnecting worked. Quite a time consuming process, signing back into each account and the various banks' different authentication procedures, but we got there in the end.
