Let's check to see why you can't link your bank account, handy_guy.

 

You could be using a different connection or you've selected the name that is not appropriate for the account you have. You could be entering the incorrect credentials. Your bank might be having maintenance. There are many possibilities as to why you can't connect your bank account. Did you get a prompt or error code? What is the name of the bank?

 

When you search your bank's name on the Banking page, you might get multiple results. It's important that you choose the correct one for your account type (business, personal, credit card, etc). They might provide specific connections per account type. You can check this by clicking the link under the bank's name.

 

Alternatively, you can download your bank transactions in a supported Web Connect file format. Then, upload them to the Banking page in QuickBooks.
