Can I delete my account and start again but import lists from original account?

Thank you for contacting us about deleting your account, STIGDUMP.

 

I can share important details about this process in QuickBooks Online. You can delete the data on your company file if your account is within 90 days after signup.

 

Once you delete the data, you're unable to restore it. If you want to proceed with the process, you can start by exporting lists out of QuickBooks.

 

After that, here's how to delete the data on the company file.

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Change the URL to include /purgecompany
    Example: Change https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage to https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
  3. The next screen will provide a summary of the items to delete.
  4. Type YES to delete the data, then select OK.
     

Once done purging the account, you can import again your lists to QuickBooks.

 

If your account has been active for more than 90 days, you're unable to delete the data. You have to cancel your account, then start a new subscription.

Keep in mind, you are unable to purge QBO Simple Start. You should open a new blank account.
