Hello chris-fsde-servi

Thanks for joining the Community.

Are you connecting the account to QuickBooks for the first time, and do you receive any specific error code or message when completing this on a web browser?

Let's check why you aren't able to link your account using the mobile app, chris-fsde-servi.

To start, sign in to QuickBooks using a browser and connect the account from there. If that works fine, you need to clear your QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app data to start fresh and removed the cached data on your device.

To add your account using a browser:

  1. Open your QBO account, then go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Connect Account on the landing page, or select Add account if you've already created an account.
  3. Search for your bank. You can connect with most banks, even small credit unions.

  4. Select Continue. Then enter the username and password you use for your bank's website in the pop-up window. It may take a few minutes to connect. You'll see onscreen instructions if your bank requires additional security steps.
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions to continue the process.

To refresh your app's data:

For Android:

  1. Go to the More Options.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click Refresh Data.
  4. Then choose Yes.

For iOS:

  1. Go to the Menu ☰.
  2. Select Help & Feedback.
  3. Click Refresh Data.
  4. Then select Refresh.

If you're getting the same error, update your phone's operating system, then uninstall and reinstall the QBO app.

In case you want to bring your bank transactions to QuickBooks manually, we also have the WebConnect feature that allows you to import them using an Excel CSV file. For more information, open this link.
