I've got your back to help reconnect your Santander business banking in QuickBooks, @eott.

The error 390 is an error when you're connecting your online bank account.

There are also instances when the browser is full of commonly used page resources, which results in errors or odd behavior. Let's use a different or private browser to view your account. You can use any of these shortcut keys to access one:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Then, reconnect Santander business banking in QBSE. Once it's successful, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache without the cookies. This is done to speed up the process the next time you do a transaction in QuickBooks. Also, an alternative way is to use other compatible browsers.

In addition, take the opportunity to review your bank transactions. Once the review is complete, you may disconnect and then reconnect the account. If you have tried all the options matching your bank's name and it doesn’t appear, request support for your bank.

Finally, you'll want to categorise your transactions in QuickBooks. You can check out this link for detailed steps: Create rules to speed up reviews in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Keep me posted if you have further questions about reconnecting your bank account to QuickBooks. I'll be around to help you. Stay safe!

I recognize the importance of linking your Santander business bank in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), eott.

When you're connecting your account and it isn't on the list, you may request support for your bank in QuickBooks.Let me guide you through the steps how:

  1. In your QBO account, go to the Banking tab.
  2. Select Connect account.
  3. Search for the name of your financial institution. If QuickBooks is unable to find your bank, you will get the message, "Hmm, we can’t find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported banks," and you will be presented with helpful tips to try and locate your bank account.
  4. If you’re still unable to find your bank, select Request.
  5. Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided, then select Request.

For detailed information, kindly visit: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.

For the time being, I recommend manually uploading transactions in QuickBooks so you could get to match and categorize them with the existing entries in QBSE.

Let me know in the comments below if you have other banking concerns or inquiries about connecting accounts in QuickBooks. I'm just around to help. Take care always.

Try Santander and cahoots, that’s what I was told to do when I got through to chat to someone on the computer as they said Santander business banking wasn’t on their system and it worked.

connection to bank account

May 30, 2024

Hello, @Patel11.

I'll assist you in sorting this issue about bank connection in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

Beforehand, I'd like to ask for more details to help us get on the same page. Would you mind telling me what specific error you encountered when connecting your bank account to QBSE? This way, I can give you an accurate resolution.

However, If you have the same Error 390, please know that this shows when your bank is undergoing changes that affect the connection with QuickBooks. As a result, your transactions will no longer automatically sync until you upgrade the bank connection.

In the meantime, let's manually refresh your bank account to see the most recent transactions available. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon on the upper right-hand.
  2. Select Bank accounts.
  3. Click Refresh all.

Otherwise, you can visit your bank's website for any alerts related to this issue. There's a possibility that there is a system maintenance.

Moreover, this article can help you organise your transactions in QBSE in the future: Categorise transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Let me know how else I can help you with banking concerns in QBSE. I'm here to lend a helping hand. Keep safe.
