- the banking tab doesn't currenty have the two accounts from my FI that I'm looking for.
- the banking tab has my old accounts(checking and savings) that I don't use anymore.
- Maybe I'll change my old accounts to inactive then try to connect my new business accounts(checking and savings). good plan?

Just to clarify, do you want to update your connected bank account or you're still trying to connect them but you're seeing that it's already connected?
We can verify first if you're bank accounts are still active and connected. Aside from the Banking page, you can check it in the Chart of Accounts. Here's how:
- Click the Accounting menu and select Chart of Accounts.
- Look for the bank.
- A connected bank account will indicate a two-headed arrow under the TYPE and DETAIL TYPE column.
You can check the screenshot below to know what I am referring to.

If you want to update your bank, you can start fresh by disconnecting and reconnecting it. Just ensure that any transactions needed to be reviewed are already categorized, matched, and added to your register.
You can use these steps in disconnecting your bank:
- Go to the Banking or Transactions menu.
- Select the blue bank square for the bank account you need to disconnect.
- Click the pencil icon in the tile for the bank account you want to update, then select Edit account info.
- Select the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
- Click Save and close.
Then, connect the accounts again using the updated bank's name or website.
