Question

Constantly needing to reconnect bank accounts

Hello, I have two accounts - both with Cooperative bank
when I update  - they both show they are updating together, (the spinning wheels)  then one of them will say there is an issue and it needs to be reconnected. I reconnect  the one with the issue- and that's successful, but then the other account shows the same issue symbol and requires reconnecting!
this seems to go round in a in a cycle.
first the one account gets an issue, then the other
one is a business account and one is a savings account - I login to them with the same details
 
can you help please?

As this seems to be a frequent behavior of your bank accounts, it's best to contact your financial institution and check if there are any issues or maintenance on their end. Please note that the data displayed on QuickBooks is based on what they provide.

 

Also, you can try accessing your account outside QuickBooks if there's going to be issues. If you can access it seamlessly, I suggest contacting our support team for them to check if this is related to any internal issues. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. In QB Assistant, enter the topic you need help with. You can also enter questions.
  4. In Search, select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert. Live chat all day, M-F.
  • Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.
  • Call us. M-F, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and S-S, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

For now, I recommend manually importing your transactions to record them in the program, and then matching them after sorting this out to avoid duplicating.
