Question

For the last month I cannot match payments through the app. It says to go on computer. Why can't I match payments on app now? Cheers.

So normally.  I come on my app. It'll say match transactions. Invoice. 10 Mrs Jones £60. I hit match. Happy days.

Now that function doesn't work. It just says try it on a computer. And it's for every single transaction.... 

I can exclude. 
I can accept deductions.

But not a matched payment. Even with repeat customers. 

Any ideas guys? Thanks.

Hi there, domestic. I appreciate the effort you exerted in letting us know about matching payments using a mobile app.

 

We received similar concerns about the issue above, however, I'd like to know which operating system are you using. If you're an Android user, we have an ongoing investigation about customers being able to match invoice payments through the application. Our engineers are working diligently to get this sorted out and provide fixes in no time. Since they are working on this internally, please know that we cannot provide a turnaround time regarding their efforts.

 

Moreover, to ensure you'll get an update about the resolution status, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can add your company file to the list of affected users and provide this investigation number for easy tracking: INV-100590.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to this site: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-uk/contact.
  2. Select a product and edition.
  3. Then, type in your reason for contacting us in the What can we help you with? Box and click Continue.
  4. From there, choose a way to connect: Chat with us, get a Callback, or call our support line directly by getting our Phone number.

 

As a workaround, you can start matching these payments by logging in to your company file using your supported web browser. You can refer to this article for the complete guidelines: Categorise online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

 

On the other hand, if you using an iOS, I recommend clearing the app's data. This refreshes the program and addresses some of the common issues:

 

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Setting General iPhone Storage.
  3. Choose the Offload App button.
