Hello there, Gareth.

If you've connected your bank account to QuickBooks Online using Open Banking, you might have noticed that you need to update your bank connection from time to time. This is because of the Open Banking standard, which requires you to reconfirm your consent every 90 days.

No worries, it's easy to do, and we'll guide you through the process in this article. We'll also demonstrate how to view and manage your past consents, enabling you to keep track of everything.

Here's how:

  1. Login to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to Bookkeeping, and then Transactions.
You will see Transactions and then Banking.
  3. Choose the dropdown arrow next to Link Accounts.
  4. Choose Manage Connections.
  5. Next to the bank that you need to reconfirm consent for, select the More icon.
  6. Select Manage Consent.
  7. When you're ready, select Reconfirm.
  8. Select OK to confirm.

I will also include this article, so you have a guide on how to re-consent your bank feed connection in QuickBooks Online.

If you have any further concerns about handling accounts and transactions in QBO, don't hesitate to reach out to me. I'm always here to help.
