Hello there, Megan.
You can use supported files to import bank transactions beyond 90 days in QuickBooks Online (QBO), and I'm here to show you the process.
When connecting your bank and credit card accounts, QBO automatically downloads 90 days' worth of bank transactions. However, you can import the older ones into QBO using Web Connect. To do that, you'll have to get the data from your bank using the supported file types, export it to Excel, and upload it into QBO.
Here's how:
- Go to Bookkeeping, select Transactions, then click Bank transactions.
- Click the blue tile for the bank account you want to upload the transactions into.
- Select the Link account dropdown and click Upload from file.
- Select Drag and drop or select files and choose the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, select Continue.
- In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into and click Continue.
- Follow the steps on the screens and select Continue.
- Choose the transactions you'd like to import and click Continue.
- Select Yes, then Done.
