Good day, @m-nton-co-uk.

I'll help you connect your bank account to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

Before we start, may I know where did you get this information from? Technically, you can connect your financial institution to QuickBooks as long as it supports Open Banking.

To get started, simply follow these steps:

On a web browser

  1. Click the profile ⚙ icon and select Bank accounts.
  2. In the search box, enter the name or URL of your bank. Then click Continue. If you've already connected an account before, select Connect another.
  3. Enter the sign-in info you use for your bank's website.
  4. When you’re ready, click Connect.

If you're using an Android or iOs, follow this article connect your account: How to connect your bank and credit card accounts.

Once connected, QuickBooks automatically downloads your transactions. All you have to do is approve the way the program categorises them. For more details, here's how to review transactions.

Please take note that not every bank connects to QBO. If your bank doesn't connect to QuickBooks, you can manually import bank transactions.

Let me know if you need further assistance with this. I'm always around to provide answers and clarifications to your questions. Have a great day ahead and take care.
