Hi, how can I set up an account for a business credit card, but not have it linked to the bank, as it has been used only for business payment a not used now

I've got the steps on how to set it up. Let me walk you through on how to do it in QuickBooks Online:

 

  1. Go to Accounting on the left panel.
  2. In the Chart of Accounts tab, click the New button at the upper-right corner.
  3. Select Credit card as a type of account.
  4. Enter the name of the account and other needed information.
  5. Then, click Save and Close.

 

When you manually enter transactions, just find the credit card account in the account list. Then, click Account history under the Action column. Afterwards, click the type of transactions on how you want to record them. Below on the Date column, click the drop-down arrow or press CTRL+ ALT+ N on your keyboard to add a transaction from time to time.
