Question

Hi, I bank with Yorkshire Bank and the feed to let me download my banking was turned off at end of March. Will the feed be turned on again anytime soon or even at all?

Hi there, @jezdilks.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) bases the information sent by your Bank Institution. It could be the Yorkshire Bank is having a maintenance update on their end. I'd suggest contacting them and verify of any news.

In the meantime, you'll want to import your bank transactions in your QBO account. Let me guide you how.

  1. Sign in to your bank website.
  2. Follow the steps to download the transaction on your computer.
  3. Download the file as Comma-Separated Values (CSV) or QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  4. Then, go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  5. Select Upload transactions.
  6. Click Browse and select the file you downloaded from your bank, then select Next
  7. Select the account you want to upload the transactions into from the QuickBooks account ▼ drop-down menu, then click Next
  8. Match the columns on the file with the banking fields in QuickBooks, then select Next
  9. When ready, select Let's go.

Here's an article you can read for more details in importing your bank transaction in QBO: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, I got you this article that you can read for future reference. This can guide you in reconciling your accounts accurately: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
