Hi I have an uploaded bank account however i want to disconnect and try bank feed instead as Quick Book as advised that its ok now. HSBC bank. Will I loose data on QBk?

All data that has already been added/matched from the banking (appearing in the 'Reviewed' tab) will remain in your books when disconnecting the bank, and can be accessed after this by viewing the account history (Accounting > Chart of Accounts > Select 'Account history' beside bank account). Any transactions not reviewed yet we'd recommend you review them first.

 

You'll also be given the option to map the bank connection to this Chart of Account during the connection process, just get back to us below if you have any further questions on this. 🙂

Thank you however, I sure i have to allocate all for review transaction before I delete from Bank.

Please confirm?

Hello there, doreen7,

 

If you're going to disconnect a bank on save, it will not affect any transactions that are already downloaded.

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu. Then select the Banking tab.
  2. Select the tile for the bank account.
  3. Select the pencil icon, then select Edit account info.
  4. Select the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
  5. Select Save and Close.
