Hi im new to quickbooks .my question is how do i change the date from where my banking history starts from

I'm here to share some information about downloading transactions.

The option to specify a starting date is unavailable in the system. When you connect a bank feed, QuickBooks can only request up to 90 days of transactions, which it will do automatically. 

Also, if you want to categorize transactions to their correct accounts, you can check this reference: Assign, categorise, edit, and add your downloaded banking transactions.
