I'd be happy to guide you in categorising your bank transactions, youngbridget3333.

If the transactions are still in the For Review tab on the Banking page, here's what you'll need to do:

  1. In the left menu, click Banking or Transactions
  2. Go to the Banking tab and click For Review.
  3. Locate and select the transaction to open it.
  4. Select the Category or Match drop-down list and select the new category from the list.
  5. Click Add to accept the new category and add the transaction.

Once done, the transactions moved from the For Review tab to the Categorised tab.

However, if the transactions are already in the Categorised tab of your Banking page, you'll need to undo them.

To undo an added or categorised transaction, see the below steps:

  1. In the left menu, click Banking or Transactions
  2. Go to the Banking tab and click Categorised.
  3. Locate the transaction.
  4. Under Action, select Undo.

Then, go back to the For Review tab, and follow the steps above to change the category.

To learn about categorising, see this article: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

To save time in categorising your data, I suggest using the Bank Rules feature. It saves so much of your time as it'll automatically categorise transactions from your bank.

Additionally, you can connect your bank to QuickBooks Online (QBO) to save time in downloading your transactions. By doing so, your transactions will automatically be posted on your account. To know more about this feature, click this link: Connect your bank feeds using Open Banking.

You can count me in if there's anything else you need. Have a great day, youngbridget3333.
