Hello there, paul88.

Let's get this sorted out by creating a new recurring bank deposit. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, select Recurring Transactions.
  2. Click New.
  3. Select the type of transaction to create, and then select OK.
  4. Enter a Template name.
  5. Choose a TypeScheduled, Unscheduled, or Reminder.

On the other hand, the reason why QBO is unable to let you copy a bank deposit, it's because you have the option to select payments from your customer's invoices and sales receipts. Also, to avoid duplicate entry of payments to the deposit.

You can learn more details about creating a recurring transaction in this article: Create templates for recurring transactions

Recurring means copy all the details from that transaction to the next time it recurs. Otherwise, you need to enter the transaction manually since auto prefill is not applicable for deposits.

I'll be around if you need more help.
