How can I connect a Sainsbury's credit card?

I've tried to connect a Sainsbury's credit card which is a MasterCard however the option doesn't appear to be able to connect it. Is there a reason why not all credit cards are available?

You've got me here to share some information about connecting a credit card account in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

 

There are several reasons why you're unable to connect your credit card into your QuickBooks.

 

These are the following:

  • Some banks have multiple names on our list. You might want to check and select the correct one or try all possible links.
  • The bank might not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs. business accounts).
  • The bank may not be a participating bank. You can contact the bank to request they establish a relationship with Intuit. 

On the other hand, you can also check is your financial institution is supported by QuickBooks.

 

To do that:

  1. From the left menu, select Banking.
  2. On the Banking page, select Add Account.
  3. Enter the bank or credit card name or a URL.
  4. Look through the results to find your bank or credit card.
