How do I amend the banking dates shown to match the tax dates.  It is showing January 2022 and I need it to show April 2022.

How do I amend this as amounts shown will be in the tax return currently with our accountant.  Do I exclude all payments from 01 Jan 2022 - 31 March 2022 starting from 01 April 2022????

Thanks,

Good day, @Padsta Gardener.

The option to change transaction dates from the Banking page is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). The way they are downloaded depends on your financial institution.

If you've already manually added these transactions inside QuickBooks, then you can exclude them. Here's how:

  1. Go to Bookkeeping and select Transactions.
  2. Click Banking.
  3. Select the For Review tab.
  4. Check the box of the transactions you want to exclude.
  5. Click Exclude.

Once done, they won't appear in any of your account registers or financial reports.

After reviewing your accounts, you can now reconcile them. This way, they would match your bank and credit card statements.

If you have any follow questions about handling your bank transactions, please let me know. I'll be here to help. Have a nice day.
