How do I connect multiple bank accounts to my quick books account?

We already have a monzo current account connected to our quick books account. Half way through the year we opened a business account. Quick books doesn’t seem to allow a second account with the same bank to be connected. We cannot delete the first account as we will lose our transactions. How can this be fixed?

Thank you for posting here in the Community, @contact-wilderno. I understand you're not able to connect a second account in QuickBooks. I have a few steps you can do to help you resolve this issue.

 

Let's rule out a possible browser cache issue. The browser uses cache and cookies to help load web pages faster the next time you visit a site. When this gets full, it causes issues that hinder the performance of your account. 

 

To verify this, I recommend accessing your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account via a private or incognito window. This is a great way of identifying browser issues as this doesn't save any data files. 

 

  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Safari (new versions): Command Shift N

 

If you’re able to access your banking page, I’d suggest clearing your regular browser's cache to refresh it. If the issue persists, I recommend using other supported browsers. This way, we can check if this is a browser-specific issue.
