I've come to share further details about linking Zettle to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), @nicki84.
I agree with my colleague. Currently, a direct connection to Zettle isn't available in QBSE. It's Zettle that requires you to enter VAT information, not QuickBooks. No third party apps can be connected in Quickbooks Self Employed only in Quickbooks Online.
Zettle payments do however currently integrate with QuickBooks Online (QBO) to automatically import your sales data. If you’re already an Zettle user you’ll need to sign up to QuickBooks Online. Next, sign into Zettle and go to your Applications page. Select ‘Connect’ on the QuickBooks app and you’ll be asked to add your QuickBooks login details.
