How do i enter end of day sales data into quick books manually?

Hello Tgguild-thegamer, thanks for posting on the Community page, You create a customer called Daily Sales then you create a sales receipt it would be beneficial if you set up 2 products and services called sales cash and sales card and link to an account in the COA (chart of accounts) or you can set up other Products & Services for what you sell if you want to and then you enter in all the cash sales for that day and on the second line put all the card sales.

 

If you are VAT reg you would need to split out what is vatable and what is not so it hits the VAT return you can also do sales receipts one to petty cash or undeposited funds for you to deposit at a later date if you have the bank connected and then another sales receipt to the bank account, remember a sales receipt is a fixed transaction so even if you just add a bank deposit as long as the accounts are set up in the COA it will hit all reports.
