Question

How many times do I have to repeat this? Bank reauthorisation message - QB said it would do this from Sept. My boss cannot see the message on his system.

I'm here to help you resolve this error message, @SusiHukki.

To start, I'd suggest logging in to your QuickBooks Online account via a private window. This doesn't use the existing cache files, which makes it a good place to determine if there's an issue with the browser.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

Once you're signed in, re-authorise the bank connection again. If you're able to do so, let's clear the browser's cache. This improves the performance of QuickBooks and helps avoid web issues.

If private browsing doesn't work, I'd recommend using different browsers. They'll provide you with the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.

Also, I'd suggest categorising your bank downloaded bank and credit card transactions and putting them in the correct accounts. This ensures your books are accurate.

Please come back and keep us posted on your progress in getting this error message resolved. I'm always glad to help in any way I can.
