Hello astuarta,

To clarify, are you trying to view which bank accounts are connected or which account is being used on a transaction?

Thanks

Hello astuarta,

When you mentioned bank account, there are different areas we can review. It could be the bank account:

  • in the Banking page.
  • in the Chart of Accounts.
  • associated to a transaction.

If you're referring to the actual bank account connected to the Banking page, you can review the sign-in info. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking page and highlight the connected bank account.
  2. Click the pencil icon and select the Edit sign-in info button.

  3. Enter your bank website's login credentials.
From there, you can review the details of the real bank account.

If the details you're looking is the QuickBooks bank account connected to the real one, you can select the Edit account info button. It'll open the account information of the QuickBooks bank account.

If you're referring to the Chart of Accounts page, you'll need to enable the account numbers to see and add them to the accounts. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Account and Settings.

  2. Select the Advanced tab and go to the Chart of accounts section.
  3. Mark the Enable account numbers and the Show account numbers boxes.

  4. Click Save and Done.

When you go back to the Chart of Accounts page, you can see the NUMBER column. With that, you can enter account numbers in bulk.

  1. In the Chart of Accounts page, click the pencil icon above the ACTION column.

  2. Enter the account numbers.
  3. Click Save when you're done.

After that, you can sort the list by clicking the column headers.

For transactions, you might want to open them manually to see the affected accounts.

There are many ways to go around in QuickBooks Online. Additional details of what you're looking for would be great so we can pinpoint and provide the steps. Have a great day!
