how to disable or disconnect bank feed

how do i  disconnect bank feed, i have changed pass word so need to reset bank feed, and therefore disconnect old feed before starting process

    Hi rvb.

     

    Thanks for reaching out tot he Community. This is certainly something I can help with but let me start by saying when a bank account is disconnected on the Small business products, any transactions you have already added to QuickBooks will remain however any transactions currently sitting to be reviewed will be removed.

     

    I'll just quickly mention that you shouldn't actually need to completely disconnect the bank and you can just update the connection details to account for the new password. To do this, if you go onto your Banking page on QuickBooks, at the top of the page you should have a box displaying your bank account. Click on the 'Pen' icon in the corner. If you then click on Edit Sign in Info  you will be asked to enter all of the connection details again giving you opportunity to update the password and reset the connection.

     

    If you did still want to disconnect the bank account entirely, if you click on the Pen Symbol again but this time click 'Edit Account info' this will bring up the account's page. At the bottom there will be an option to 'Disconnect on Close'. Just tick this box and save the page and the bank account will be disconnection.
