Question

How to make Paypal bank feed import fees as well as Gross sales. Currently fees are not importing, just gross sales. Am I missing a setting?

You've reached the right place to help you with your PayPal transactions, @bodyaware1,

I want to share some more insights about this concern about Paypal fees. Your setup is correct, but we currently have an ongoing issue with the system not importing fees at the moment.

To add your account to the notification list, you need to get in touch with our Support Team. They will include your email to receive live updates on how the investigation is going and if there is an available fix already.

Provide the investigation number INV-42500 to our representatives to expedite the verification process.

Also, regarding our support, we have made changes to our operation hours and our contact options. Our Live Help are available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and 6:00 AM til 3:00 PM on Saturdays.

To get in touch with our representatives, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the (?) Help menu to open the QB Assistant box.
  2. On the page, enter Contact Support.
  3. Pick Live Chat to connect with our live representative.
  4. Once done, click the Live Chat link provided in the pop-up box.
  5. On the next page, enter the description of the issue, then Let's Talk.
  6. Lastly, select Start a chat.

As a workaround, you can download the missing entry from Paypal and import it manually in QuickBooks Online. The "How to" steps are listed in the following links:

You can also use a third-party app importer to include the missing transactions into QuickBooks,. You can check our app website by searching for the keyword "Paypal". See it here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/home/

You can also contact their support provider for help and additional instructions on how to integrate their product to our software.

We also have a separate forum called Intuit Developers, where you can find engineers who can help recommend third-party applications to use. Click this link to our website: Intuit Developers Community.

If you have any more concerns about bank feeds or syncing applications with QuickBooks, feel free to post here again. I'll be right here to help you. Have a nice day!
