I am trying to erconcile but the started balance is incorrect as 2 items were deleted. how do I correct this?

Thanks for reaching out on the Community page, 

If items have been deleted you could re-create them and manually reconcile this will then correct your starting balance if they where not meant to be deleted. However if the 2 items where meant to be deleted then you when need to get an accountant to reconciled it so you can start again.
