Can you specify which bank you're trying to connect and upgrade your online feeds to Open Banking? 

You might want to check in this article for the lists of banks with accounts available on Open Banking: Understanding if you can upgrade your bank feeds to Open Banking.

Otherwise, you'll have to import your bank transactions into QuickBooks Online (QBO) until your bank is available for Open Banking.

Once your transactions are in QuickBooks, it's time to match and categorise them.
