This is not the impression we want you to experience. Let's perform some steps to see if this is just triggered by your bank, or in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), canine barbers.

There are some possible reasons why bank transactions are not downloading or missing in QBSE. Among these are:

  • There is a minor or major update in your bank information such as the bank account number.
  • Update on your bank’s website. If you can't find your FI, you can request support for your bank and request it be added.
  • Updates in your Online Banking Login credentials.
  • Bank outage and other scheduled maintenance.

To better isolate this one, let's try clicking on the Refresh All button multiple times on your Banking page. This refreshes the connection between your financial institutions and QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Bank accounts.
  3. Press Refresh all

Then, try connecting your bank account again. If the same thing happens, just manually import your bank transactions using.CSV a file. You can get this file from your bank's website. Let me show you how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Imports.
  3. Tap Import older transactions and follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Tick Import.

For more details about this one, check out the Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed article. When you're done, review and categorise your transactions to put them in your accounts.

Once done, reach out to our Self-Employed Customer Support Team. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and investigate what's causing this issue. Feel free to visit our Banking page for more insights about managing your bank transactions.

I'd like to know how things going after contacting our support agent, as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Feel free to reply to this post and I'll get back to you. Have a great day ahead.
