Question

I can’t link my bank account. It keeps coming up with error 572. My bank say access accepted but when it takes me back to Intuit the page is blank. Bank account is new?

Thanks for alerting me about the error 572, @ckdart7280-gmail.

I want to make sure this gets sorted out for you.

May I know if you have also tried doing it in a private/incognito browsing session? Banking errors may be caused by cache or browser issues.

Please follow the keyboard shortcuts below to quickly switch to a private session:

  • Google Chrome Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari Command +Shift + N

You can also use a different browser while manually updating your bank through QuickBooks Online to download the transactions.

  1.  Go to the Banking tab.
  2. Select Update.

  3. If asked, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Then select Continue update.

For reference about connecting your account to matching bank entries and reconciling them, you can check on this article: Online Banking guide for QuickBooks Online.

Just to check, may I know the name of your financial institution? This way, I can use my resources further to see specific fixes. You can also log in to your bank to see if there are notification that needs your attention.

Please comment on this thread or reach out to us again if you still have other questions about connecting your bank. I'm always here to make sure everything will work well. Take care.
