Hi there, @wmark74-hotmail-. I'm here to make sure you can connect your account successfully.

May I know what bank are your trying to link to online banking? Some banks have multiple names on our list. You might want to check and select the correct one. You can also try logging in to all bank's extensions if there are multiple results when you search it by name.

Once you find it, you can connect your bank to the program. Follow these easy steps to connect your bank:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and then select Bank accounts.
  2. In the search box, enter the name or URL of your bank. Then select Continue. If you've already connected an account before, select Connect another.
  3. Enter the sign-in info you use for your bank's website.
  4. When you’re ready, select Connect securely.

Otherwise, you can export/download the transactions from your online banking account. Then, import/upload them to your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account.

  1. Sign in to your bank website and follow the instructions on how to download your transactions as a CSV file.
  2. Once downloaded, navigate to the Gear icon in your QBSE account.
  3. Then, here's how to import them:

  4. Select Imports.

  5. Select Import older transactions for the account you want to add transactions to.
  6. Select Browse and find the file you downloaded from your bank. It's usually in your Downloads folder.
  7. Select the file and select Open to start the import.
  8. Review the column headers and data. Make sure the DateDescription, and Amount columns on the CSV match the columns and order in QuickBooks. The other column headers can be in any order.
  9. Select Continue to complete the import.
  10. Follow the on-screen instruction.
