I have recently started using go cardless - the integration is working fine apart from one transaction for which no match has been found

if I manually try to find a match, there is nothing there for that supplier, the invoice has already been marked as paid

That is great to hear that it is all working for you. In regards to not finding the match, when you manually searched has that invoice been marked as paid and matched to the wrong transaction, if so you can just undo it and then match it up to the right transaction on the banking page.
