I have reconeected HSBC 5 times and it goes through & says coonection complete and a big green tck, but then when you go back to banking it says i need to reconnect again

I know how important it is to get your HSBC account connected to the program, @nathan19. I assure you that I'll route you to the right support to resolve this banking connection issue. 

 

You're on the right track in reconnecting your HSBC account five times. This bank is already supported for Open Banking connection. Since it doesn't work, I'd suggest contacting our Customer Care Team. They can check your account and determine why you'll need to reconnect it when the connection is complete. They can also help you fix this so the system will download the latest transactions from HSBC. Here's how: 

  1. Go to the Help menu at the upper right. 
  2. Select Contact Us
  3. Enter Fixing The HSBC Connection Issue in the What can we help you with? box. 
  4. Hit Let's talk
  5. Choose a way to connect with a live support agent.

 

Once fixed, you can edit and categorise your bank transactions in the For Review tab. It helps you ensure your financial records are accurate. To learn more about this process, visit this article: Categorising Bank Transactions

 

Also, I'd want to make sure this banking issue will be taken care of. Did you receive any error messages when reconnecting HSBC to QuickBooks?
