I import from EU and pay the import VAT to the carrier I receive an invoice from thm UK import vat 166.20 Import duty 46.68, admin fee 12.00, how do i record this ?

Hi paul224 To confirm, the total amount of the expense/bill is 224.88 and the amount of VAT you'd like to enter/claim back is 166.20?

There are loads of discussions on here about Import VAT / Duty & how to enter in QBO.

Search for Import Duty or Import VAT or 100% VAT - there are two or three methods, pick your favourite.
