Thank you for turning to the Community about your banking concern. We'll need to go over some basic troubleshooting tasks to get your bank feeds up and running.

Before we begin, could you tell us the name of your financial institution? Did you receive any error messages or codes? This is to see whether there have been any reported concerns. While waiting for the information, let's check the following information:

  • Make sure the spelling is exactly as it appears on your bank's website.
  • Use very specific names to search for your FI. If you still can't find anything, try broader names like "Citi."
  • Type your bank's URL into the search field, "hsbc.com." for HSBC.
  • Look for the name of the issuing bank (the one that issued your bank card). It's located on the back of your card. "Chase," "HSBC," or "Bank of America" should work, but "Visa" may be too generic.

Next, try the other listed versions of your bank's name. For detailed instructions, perform Steps 2 through 3 in this article: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.

Once you have all the transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), make sure to categorise them to the correct account for easy reconciliation. These resources can also be used to manage your banking tasks and troubleshoot missing downloaded data:

Fill me in if you have other banking concerns or questions. I'll be delighted to respond to them. Have a good one.
