Hi there, ultimateplodders.

I'll provide ideas on why you're unable to see your bank as an option when you try to link in QuickBooks Online.

One of the reasons you can't see your bank as an option in QBO, it could be the bank's name was entered incorrectly. That being said, I suggest making sure to type the correct name of your financial institution when connecting the account on the banking page.

Once you already see your bank in our list of supported banks, please follow the steps below on how to connect your bank in QBO.

Here's how:

  1. Enter your bank name or URL.
  2. Click Continue
  3. In the pop-up window, enter the login credentials you use for your bank’s website.
  4. Choose the account type you're connecting (savings, checking, or card).
  5. Set the date range for the download.
  6. Click Connect.

You can go through this article for more detailed steps: Connect Bank and Card Accounts to QuickBooks Online.

Once connected, downloaded transactions go to the For Review tab on your QuickBooks Banking page. You can review, categorise, and accept the transactions into QuickBooks to avoid duplicate entries. Please visit this article for additional information: Add And Match Downloaded Bank Transactions.

If you already entered your bank correctly and you're unable to connect this in QBO, I suggest contacting your Financial Institution. They can give permission to allow online banking access to QuickBooks Online. They can also give additional information about why you're unable to link your bank.

Please check this article to see steps on how to download transactions from your bank and then manually import them into QuickBooks Online: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
