Let me help you managing your bank account in QuickBooks Self-Employed,.com.

We can hide your bank account if you don't want to see transactions from a particular bank account anymore. Hiding it will also hide all the transactions associated with the account. Your bank account will not show up until we make it active again. To include the transactions and keep the account hidden, we can manually create transactions or import a CSV file

Here's how to hide your bank account:

  1. Click the Gear  icon.
  2. Select Bank Accounts.
  3. Find the account you want to hide.
  4. Select the toggle to OFF in the Show Account section.

If you want to completely eliminate the data, we can delete your bank. Before doing it, we'll have to consider that all the data/transactions associated with that account will be deleted too.

Here's how (if you wish to delete it):

  1. Click the Gear  icon.
  2. Select Bank Accounts.
  3. Choose the account you want to delete.
  4. Click the Trash can icon.
  5. Type "Delete" to confirm.
  6. Select Delete when you're ready.

You can reach out to our support team if you want to recover the deleted data.

I've added an article that will help you in categorizing your recent and past transactions: Create rules to speed up reviews in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
