If I am buying materials to produce products what expense category would this come under?

Hi! 

Not sure if this is the right place to post this.
But I am wondering If I am buying materials to produce garments what expense category would this come under?
I have been putting it under Inventory but wanted to check if this was correct?

I would personally class it as Cost of Sales.
