Im having trouble refreshing with my bank account( Mettle). My bank account says it has an active connection with qb but qb says there is a problem??

Hi there, @jwrichardd-hotma. I've got here steps to help you refresh the connection of your bank to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

We can perform some troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue. Let's start with opening your QBO company in incognito mode. The web cache in your browser can sometimes hinder you from visiting frequently frequented websites like QBO. 

 

You can use these following shortcut keys depending on your browser type:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N 
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

Once signed in, refresh the bank connection again. If this works, you'll have to clear your browser's cache to have a clean slate. If the same thing happens, I recommend using another supported browser as alternatives.

Meanwhile, you can also manually upload transactions from your bank to QBO using a CSV file. 

 

Once transactions are in, you'll have to categorize them to ensure they are assigned to the correct account.
