Is there a way to change a payment on account to a different customer account, without reconciling?

Hello Lisa-Mayes, 

 

If you go to into the payment> payee drop down arrow> select the customer it should have been> save and close bottom right hand corner. This will not effect your reconcile.

Hello lisa-mayes,

 

 

You can open the transaction and change the customer on the payee field in the transaction, this will not unreconcile the transaction. .

Thank you, sorry but can you give step by step as i think we have tried changing this and it wont let me.
