Link bank account. I get through to my bank and it accepts the request but its not returning me to quikbooks it says it has failed?

I'm here to ensure you're able to link your bank account, jakepriddle-hotm.

 

Is this your first time setting up online banking for this account? Also, may I know the name of the bank account? Any additional information will get us closer to the resolution.

 

If this a new connection, I recommend validating the credentials first on the financial institution’s website. Once verified, try connecting the bank account again on your QuickBooks Online account by following the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Click Add Account.
  3. Search your bank or use the correct URL when you log in to your bank's website. 
  4. Enter your bank's username and password.
  5. Select the type of account.
  6. Choose how far back you want to download bank transactions.
  7. Click Connect.

 

Aside from that, you can also manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

 

Once you downloaded your transactions, you can start categorising and matching them. When you're ready, you can do your regular bank reconciliation
