Hi,  I have been using QB Self Employment since 2017,  I have today linked to my business bank account and now have an almost duplication of all transaction I have manually entered since last August.  Is there any way to tell QB to only link my account from this day to go forwards?

Its a great shame as all transactions I have manually entered/snapping receipts etc. over the past 6 months are now sat alongside the imported transactions that don't have such.   Also going forward am I to not snap my receipts (fuel etc.) until the banking goblins work their magic over the inter web and add my transaction automatically?

Hello and welcome to Community pumpmonkey.

When connecting the bank for the first time this normally provides an option of when you would like to import from normally up to the last 90 days dependent on the number of transactions although I have seen it go as far back as a year this all depends on the details given to QuickBooks from the bank on request. Disconnecting the bank will remove anything imported by the bank leaving anything manually created in the system. In terms of updating following transactions QuickBooks will usually only import from the date of last transaction of the last update.

Hi,

I have tried all afternoon and can not see anywhere with regards to the 'option of importing from date', as previously mentioned, it has imported the past 6 months which isn't very good.

I have also noticed the subscription has crept up since January, its a shame as i really used to like this app but it got my tax way out, for a first time self employed user... I think I may have to look elsewhere to find better suited software.
